Multicultural Teams Seminar with Dr. Frank Severn )Oct.

In this seminar we will seek to demonstrate the historical and biblical importance of Multicultural teams. We will look at the implications of missionaries from a variety of cultures working together to accomplish mission for the glory of God. We will seek to provide training that will help missionaries from East and West, North and South, to work together effectively as covenant communities committed to making disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Speaker: Dr Frank Severn

Dr. Frank Severn and his wife Jane served with SEND International for over 40 years. They served in the Philippines as church planting missionaries from 1965-1980. In 1980 Frank was appointed General Director of SEND International. He served in that role for 24 years. During the last 6 years Frank and Jane continue to serve SEND in special assignments, teaching and preaching. They have 4 grown children and 10 grandchildren.

Dr. Wang has served 22 years in international ministry with Avant Ministries [formerly Gospel Missionary Union]. She grew up in Taiwan, and has lived many years in North America and South America. She earned her doctorate of ministry in Marriage and Family Counseling from Denver Seminary and is a licensed counseling psychologist in Taiwan. Her education, training, professional experience and multicultural experience make her a unique Christian counselor in many ways.
